In Nasal Demons 10 projects are brought together to explore the similarities between humans and machines in a world where expectations between the two continue to blur. As technology increasingly shapes the way we work, communicate and define ourselves, the exhibition shows how current expectations influence our understanding of identity, purpose, and human behavior.

Wouldn't it be comforting to have a single, unambiguous purpose in life or are our inconsistencies, in fact, an essential beauty machines can only ever approximate through imitation?

In a society driven by optimization, efficiency and endless (self-)improvement, media artist Quintus Glerum, and initiator of this exhibition, wonders whether it might feel easier to be a machine.
